"Extra, extra! Read all about it!"

Ask Us

Why use a newspaper?

Use a newspaper to find local, regional or national current events, entertainment, editorials, and reviews. Historical newspapers can provide unique eye witness accounts of events.

How do I find a newspaper?

Option 1: Use News databases on GALILEO to find articles on a topic [off campus access]

  1. From the GALILEO home page roll your mouse over the News/Facts Reference tab.
  2. Click on News.
  3. Pick a news database such as LexisNexis . [Show me..]
The  graphic indicates databases that contain full text articles online.

Option 2: Have a citation or just want to browse issues?
